Default Roger Ebert's memoir 'Life Itself'

If any of you like Ebert's writing, I highly recommended his memoir. About halfway through. Fantastic!

I really need to get this. Was mulling a purchase at Wal-Mart. I just hate to get books at full price since they drop their prices so fast.

I'm a huge fan of Ebert. I often disagree with him, but I admire his writing. I was already well in thought on purchasing this.

I think writers have a Karmic duty to buy books no matter the price.

Hence my unbearable guilt.

A very good present. I finished it on Sunday night. The chapter on Chaz is very touching. Great read.

Just got done reading this. It may sound cliche, but I laughed (the Robert Mitchum chapter is hilarious), I cried (the Blackie chapter about his childhood dog is heart-rending), and I loved it. So many great sections and so plainly spoken. One of the best biographies I've ever read.
