Default Suspiria (1977) 4K UHD Blu-ray Review

"Thanks to the restoration efforts of Synapse Films, the influential film haunts 4K Ultra HD with a brand-new HDR10 facelift and a demo-worthy Dolby Atmos presentation, culled from a remaster of the original 35mm camera negatives."

My million dollar question is, am I supposed to like this film? Does it being a Argento film make that mandatory?

YES! It is a requisite to love Suspiria in order to consider yourself an Argento fan or claim to be a cult collector. Did you not receive the memo clearly stating and explaining this line of logic from the Secret Association of Devoted, Staunchly Addicted Cult Collectors (SadSacc)?

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash
we have very little reason to be interested in them.
