The studio is prepping its entire catalog of movies for 4K release.

Not surprising. It's relatively easy guaranteed money for them, both from physical sales and streaming.

.. they are talking like itís all the movies they are remastering. That mean the current Avengers and Captain America movies will be double dipping already? Donít worry about $40 each, wait for sales. Any case Iím not upgrading any of them until they are all out and dust settled.

Even on sale they tend to be $30+

Right now you can get the Avengers and Captain America trilogies from Amazon UK for around $90, or $15 a movie.. just give it a minute.

I've never been a huge steelbook fan. I only pick them up on the rare occasion that they are the same price as the regular.

Not exactly Marvel, but still Disney, this week at Target and Target.com there are a bunch of Disney 4K Digipaks for $16.79. Maybe they made too many of them? I'm miffed that I paid full price but I cannot stew over it I guess.
