Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

Nope. When I saw Arrow announced their last release, I really wanted to support them, but knowing it was a 4K master and with so many good titles hitting the UHD Disc market, I am more careful with my spending when it comes to FHD.

Anyway, I like to put this in a category of "underrated overrated movie." Clear as mud? Yup, supposed to be!
Did this movie ever make its budget back by now?

Of course this now has an official release since I bought the deluxe BD version, you can all thank me for this.

I'm really glad I didn't buy Arrow's $45 set now. Will gladly get this new UHD when it hits $15 or less.

Same here, BD purchases are exceptionally rare these days. Any word if the UHD will have the extended cut?

I haven't read anything about the extended cuts - so don't take this as gospel - but my wager is it would only be the theatrical cut. It read to me from the restoration notes on the Arrow set that the Extended and Ulysses Cuts required extra attention and weren't of the same quality as the theatrical elements - so who knows? Fingers crossed Universal punts all three on there.

Looks like Best Buy is doing a SteelBook for this'un - no image art yet but the listing is there, not a terrible price either.
