Field of Dreams could be enough to get me to upgrade to a 4K screen.

Totally - It's one of my favorites that I've just never been very happy with on disc

I recently re-watched Backdraft and Blown Away on the same night. Great movie.
Always meant to get Field of Dreams on BD but kept buying other titles. Maybe this will finally make me buy it.

What are the chances of Universal releasing a remastered blu-ray of Field of Dreams?

If they were to do that I'd be in. That might make it easier for me to hold off on UHD for a while longer.

For a UHD player, I just use my Xbox One S on my 1080p projector or 40 inch 1080p LCD TV. The only 2 I've actually watched are American Psycho and The Patriot, only because the PQ is better than the accompanying blu-rays. I still have no need or urge to "upgrade" to a 4K set-up anytime soon though. In the end, I'd rather just buy a remastered blu-ray for a cheaper price.

So the down-converted UHD looks better than the Blu-Ray for those two movies? If a down-converted UHD looks better than I'd buy Field of Dreams on UHD and watch it on my 1080p plasma screen.
