4K announcements on Zavvi. They are fat packs so they have extra swag.

One would expect the USA to get the rest of the Carpenter movies as well, probably a matter of days before we see an official announcement. Question is, will we see the same swag?

The trick is I think those are all still covered under Shout's license. Stateside they're a bit of a rights quagmire with Fox/MGM still holding The Fog and Escape From New York while Universal's got They Live and Prince of Darkness (as far as I'm aware). EU side Studio Canal owns them all so it's pretty easy for them to release everything in one go. Trick now is do I import the fatpacks or the SteelBooks?

I went ahead and pre ordered Fog, EFNY and They Live collectors editions at Amazon UK for $109. Prince of Darkness isnít available there yet however.

Often times when StudioCanal releases a UK title, LionsGate is the USA partner.
I think we should move these posts to another thread as, although it's John Carpenter, it's NOT Christine.

When I posted the link a few days ago there were no 4K Steels on the list.
