I missed it in theaters too. Definitely looking forward to seeing it. May actually wait a couple weeks, when our local drive-in will be doing a double feature of Black Panther and Infinity War.

That's pretty cool. I still have time to see IW, hopefully I can catch it in theaters.

Yeah...that one I did see already. Had to take advantage of a lazy afternoon when I didn't want to work, and they were showing in 3D at our nice theater here

Seems like the audio tracks on Disney/MCU releases continue to underwhelm (against what they could be on sound design)

I am curious what gets lost in translation because when I see these films in theaters, the audio is awesome and punchy, but seems like it doesn't have the same weight on home release.

I think the problem is Disney reconfiguring the original sound design in favor for a near-field mix, such as soundbars, TV speakers or stereo setups, rather than a dedicated surround sound system.

Here is Steve Maslow explaining the logic behind a nearfield mix.

Hate to nitpick, but would you guys mind putting the full review on the regular blu-ray's review page as well? Hate jumping back and forth just so I can see the full movie review and special features listing/impressions.

As for the movie itself, looking forward to getting the 3D blu-ray from the UK in the summer once the prices go down a bit. Not a perfect film, nor is it the best in the MCU (IMO), but still a very entertaining one. I'd probably rate it a 3.75 to a 4 out of 5.

Excellent movie. One of the year's best and is definitely up there as being one of the MCU's best. Though, Infinity War might be the better of the two if I had to compare them.
