It's a crime that this didn't get a wider release in theaters, or any form of marketing. It was amazing on the big screen and I suppose I'll have to suck it up and go to Best Buy for the 4k.

I'll be borrowing this from the library. I wanted to see it in theaters since it is done by the guy who did Ex Machina, but after the poor reviews, I just couldn't justify spending money on it.

Poor reviews? The movie's at 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is pretty good.

My friends.

We were too busy the weekend it came out, so our friends saw it first for a change and said it wasn't worth it.

I thought the movie was fantastic! One of the best sci-fi flicks of the year thus far, and I can only imagine how phenomenally beautiful it's going to look in HDR10/WCG.

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

Wonder if this is a timed exclusive window or something. Why would this be exclusive is what I am asking?

Like Ex Machina & Arrival It's not an "easy" movie to wrap your head around. There is a lot of stuff I know I missed, so at least another viewing or two will be required. 4k please!

Not here, but elsewhere I've seen the text reading as "initially a Best Buy exclusive" so my feeling is it will be more fully distributed later.
