I preordered the Best Buy SteelBook.
They say this movie has now surpassed Titanic for money.

The Blu-ray arrives one week later, but you get a (free) Blu-ray copy when you buy the 4K edition. So you can actually have the Blu-ray seven days ahead of its intended street date. Quite funny.

Right now it is the best movie of the year. However, there's still Infinity War.

In North America, yes. Worldwide, it's at about $1.3 billion at the moment. Not bad. Not bad at all!

I thought the film was good. Certainly not the best Marvel film, but still pretty entertaining. I would probably put it on par with something like the first Thor movie. Shame there's no 3D release here in North America. Looks like my money will be going to the UK yet again.

For me, thats the worst comparison because the first Thor is my least favorite Marvel flick....they just didnt know what to really do with the character at that point....Dark World and of course Ragnarok are far better on every level IMO so hopefully Black Panther isnt that low for me

I don't know how anyone could not like the first Thor. It was so Shakspearian, the way I pictured a Thor movie would look.

Dark World, on the other hand, is easily the worst film in the MCU. Good god is that movie a narrative mess.

Black Panther is almost as good as Winter Soldier, which is the peak of the MCU.

Winter Soldier is the BEST. My favorite MCU movie. Maybe my favorite comic movie
