Why does it need Dolby Vision?

Watch enough Dolby Vision titles on Vudu or the native discs coming out and you can really start to see the differneces when HDR isn't just slapped on there but actually programed scene for scene. I don't mind HDR10 as a basic approach, but since Dolby Vision is being made available for more and more films theatrically (as it was for IT), there's really no reason not to include it on the disc

Is the 4K disc going to actually be the extended cut or are they going to pull that bullshit where you only get the extended cut with the BD and the 4K version is the theatrical one? I might not have a 4K player yet, but it's worthless to buy this release if it doesn't included the extended cut on both discs.

Warner Bros has a track history. I think you've already answered your own question. Maybe they've had enough complaints and the right person heard them. Or maybe not.

SteelBook for Germany gets final artwork. Interesting that IT translates to ES. So does their former Axis ally ITaly translate to ESaly? I can kind of dig the art. NOT PopArt or Mondo. Not sure what it is really. Anyone that's seen the movie, is the cover art in context?
I hope the USA gets this. Actually I kind of expect USA to get this, the placeholder artwork for Germany was the same as the USA one is showing now.

You think so? It looks like a pretty lame Photoshop montage cramming all the characters into the same frame, each image taken from a different scene in the movie. I kind of hate it.

That steelbook actually looks more appropriate for a new release of The Mist instead of IT -
not the worst ever, that'd be the Rogue One steelbook with everyone standing in fake water with their ankles cut off. That was about as lazy as lazy gets for cover artwork.

Yeah, it does give a Mist vibe. I had not seen It so I was unsure of the context. Wonder what the back looks like?
WB has been good in general though for not doing Mondo, PopArt, paintball splatter, etc. Want montage or art project, easy choice.
