WW was surprisingly good. I just have no desire to own it because of how bad the rest of the DCEU is. Still, I will give the BD a rent at some point.

Watched this last night.
I thought it was good but not great. I thought the ending was extremely cliché but it works.
I thought there were too many slow motion and flips throughout the movie, but this is a comic book movie.
I also thought Gadot had some unconvincing acting scenes.
The music was excellent.
Overall an enjoyable movie though.

The chemistry and charisma of the two leads sold me on this movie, which was the first of this universe I've not hated. I just find the aesthetics of this universe so oppressive. I keep wanting somebody to open the blinds and let the sunshine in.

But that aside, this was a winner to me.

I loved the movie, but my only complain is the ending

SPOILERS AHEAD

The thing is that whole mystic Hades thing did not work for me, it seemed kind of out of place, DC universe has been trying to kind of ground things in reality that is why Suicide Squad was among many other things such a letdown.

Don't get me wrong is not like I want "reality" after all we are talking people who fly, aliens and so on, but the whole concept of gods and magic something I can't find to mix.

But obviously that is just me, so as long as that is not a problem the movie is really enjoyable.

I think this movies owes a lot to the first Superman (1978) because of the that the optimism and even the Wonder Woman character seems to be very inspired by that.

Wow, these were my exact thoughts after watching the film, especially with respect to Gadot's acting. Several scenes demanded just one more take. The movie is better than MAN OF STEEL, SUICIDE SQUAD and BATMAN VS. SUPERMAN, but that's not saying too much.

Thank you
And I agree with the rest of your post.

I also wanted to add, I was not a fan at all of the villain in this movie. I think they picked the wrong actor AND wrong villain.
