It being "official" - is this truly Disney or just Marvel? And if so, will Disney enter the UHD market with a bang or be lazy at first like they were with regular BD?

The bottom of the ad shows this is coming from BVHE.com, which is Disney's distribution for retailers of home media. Nevertheless, it would be nice to hear/read an official press release from either Marvel or Disney.

Yes I know BHVE - and we see Pixar releasing 3D in the USA but for the most part, Disney not, but yet Pixar releases say BHVE as well. You and I know BHVE is simply just the umbrella distribution.

So... no 3D US release for this one?

Does these kind of ads usually include every variable SKU (except retailer exclusives) or are they more like, "this is coming, more versions and details to come -- but expect at least these 2 versions"?

I really had to lol at a Twitter mention of this movie. One guy was very excited because this is the first Marvel title coming to 4k!!! I had to respond that unless Deadpool and X-men disappeared, it's not the first Marvel title.

We won't hear an official announcement until the 11th with more specific details, retail exclusives and SKUs. This is just an ad for retailers to prepare and order inventory

What's the status of Disney Movie Anywhere rights management for 4K? I don't see a 4K preorder on VUDU...

There is a little history of this and as e mentions in the previous post, more info should be available the 11th. Now for the history part: There was word of videos getting "reclassified" on Disney Movies Anywhere, which sort of hinted to us that they were going to be adding 4K very soon.
