Default 4 Blu-rays for €50 at FNAC.com (France) sale

Of interest only to serious importers, FNAC.com is having a 4 blu-rays for €50 sale:

http://video.fnac.com/s114310/Blu-Ray/4-Blu-Ray-50

or, if you want to browse in English via Google translate: Link

There's several Steelbooks in the list, and good deals on other French releases.

I ordered 4 steelbooks:
Les Aventures de Rabbi Jacob
Les Femmes de l'ombre (Female Agents, a WW2 drama)
Scoop
Terminator 2

and 4 others I've been wanting:
36 Quai des Orfθvres
Bound
Ne le dis ΰ personne (Tell No One)
La Mτme

Each title is only €10.25 after VAT removal, but then only expedited shipping is available at €29.80, but FNAC's expedited shipping is great - I'll have everything next Thursday or Friday. Total of €111.80, just under €14 for each title.

That is the Euro symbol, 14 Euros for a European release delivered is actually very good value, not expensive at all.

I hope you realise the French release of Female Agents does not come with English audio or subtitle... I ended up importing this movie from Amazon UK, the UK version has English subtitle.

€ = Euro, used in France and much of the European Union; currently 1€ = $1.49

£ = British Pound, used only in the UK, and currently £1 = $1.63

But, actually, 4 UK blu-rays for £50 would be a very good deal as well.

Nice Find...anyone have a list of titles that are not region locked and recommended?
For Example: Dances with Wolves would be a good one as region free I think but bad PQ from reviews..

Yes, a very handy site. And I haven't seen at as I have the very nice German release (but region B locked), but from all reviews avoid the French Dances with Wolves - bad color timing and soft PQ. It's being released in the UK Oct. 26 by Warner, so likely region free.

Not very current info, but I bought Match Point in July from Amazon.fr and project-blu bought Scoop and they were both steelbooks. And thanks for the tip on Female Agents; no I slipped and didn't realize it was French only audio. Oh well, with Windows 7 coming out I'm finally putting together an HTPC with blu-ray capability, so I'll snag some subs for it.

And for those interested in this deal, shipping rates are:

US & Canada: 15 € per order + 1.85 € per item
Oz: 20 € per order + 1.85 € per item.
Chronopost expedited shipping out of France, then delivery by local courier service; FedEx in the US.
