Yea, I fully agree. Last movie I just saw too was Revolutionary Road in fact! I hear everywhere (including here) though that her performance in Revolutionary Road should have been noticed for the oscar instead of the reader. But either way, can't wait to see her in this one too. Blind buy for me, but one that I'm sure I will have no regrets with.

Speaking of random amazon price drops. Anybody else notice that the pre order price on Cutthroat Island dropped down to 13.99?

The Reader is a fantastic film to own .... the performances by both Kate Winslet and David Kross are exquisite! Besides that , the film looks terrific on bluray ! Highly recommended !

I love this movie. For me, Ralph Fiennes had a banner year with this, "The Duchess" and "In Bruges".

Not so random guys. I work at Best Buy and we have it on sale til the end of the month for 14.99. I'm sure amazon is just playing catch up. When you go in the store there are a lot of unadvertised specials going on, represented with blu tags listing the sale and regular prices with (in very fine print) the start and experation date of the titles. This title is on sale for almost a month, some movies stay on sale for far longer than that. Lost seasons 3 (when there were ONLY 3) was super cheap on blu for an extended period of time. If needed I can provide a list here weekly with all the unadvertised blu's on sale in stores.
