Default CORALINE Pre-Order $21.49 at Amazon

Amazon has just dropped the pre-order price of Coraline down to $21.49 (suggested list $39.99) due July 21.

Why can't Amazon offer more pre-orders at such a great discount?

Thanks for the heads up. I just ordered it. I hope it is good. I never seen it, but I have read wonderful things about. Anyway, just about anything is better on Blu...don't answer that...lol

I'm blind buying this... Really wanted to see it in theaters but didn't have the chance. I'm excited to see this and Watchmen DC next week!

Well one reviewer found it very scary

Seriously, it's a wonderful movie. Visually stunning. Saw it in 3D at one of the biggest theaters in NYC and it was breathtaking. While the movie waters down the 'girl power' aspect of the book (gives her a male 'best friend' who of course gets to rescue her, versus the books' more self-sufficient version of the character), it is still a solid film adaptation of an incredible (and incredibly creepy) book.

Not sure I'd call it the scariest of cartoons...it's no "Night on Bald Mountain"...but it's psychologically gripping and has many out-out-out creepy moments. Sense of humor is more BEETLEJUICE than NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS (and mean that in the best way).

I decided to PO instead of waiting around for a better deal on this and Watchmen. Man, I wish James and the Giant Peach would come out soon.

This is a top notch Blu-ray, I posted a review on my blog if anyone's curious.

At that price it's a definite bite.

Saw it at the $2 local theater. I was very pleasantly surprised.
This is certainly a DARK movie. Kind of on par with "Monster House" but not quite as scary.

I like Tim Burton and am excited for this one, but I will probably just wait until the holidays when this movie will be found for much cheaper...

You do know that Tim Burton had nothing to do with this, right? And that he didn't direct Nightmare Before Christmas either? Henry Selick directed both (Tim 'just' wrote the original story and produced Nightmare...and got his name attached to the title to help sell it to audiences)
