Default Will Best Buy Cash Stimulus?

Does anyone know if Best Buy will cash your stimulus checks? I'm trying to take advantage of the $100 Gift Certificate that Wal Mart is offering so that will be one easy transaction done all at one.

Thanks.

If Wal-mart is doing all these nice things you like (issuing a $100 gift card and cashing your stimulus check for free) why not reward them by purchasing your PS3 there? Why the hussle?

True. That will probably be the route i go but since I'm with the Reward Zone Program I just thhought that would also be a plus. Also Best But would have a far greater selection of movies to take advantage of than just a few that WalMart has and that I probably all ready own.

While BB definetly has more titles, My 3 Wal Mart's completely redid their blu ray sections and have between 60 and 70 titles now. They have many more players as well...

+1...

My Wal Mart was one of the last to jump onto the 'HD train'... I have 11 Wally's within ~25 miles of me, and my 'local' store didn't even get HDM until January of this year.

People were talking about seeing the BD30 in their stores, and I thought to myself 'those lucky bastards'... but when I went into my Wal Mart yesterday... they have 1 entire aisle dedicated to Blu, and 4-5 different players (IIRC). I know they had the BD 30... it was in my hands...

Best Buy won't "cash" it, but they will give you a gift card worth 110% of the value of the check.

If you have a 600 check, they'll give you a $660 gift card, for example.

Oh, and Best Buy will also match the $100 gift card promotion on the PS3. If you ask the associate about it, they should have a SKU to key in for that package.

Yeah, and FLSkydiver, he probably would rather shop at Best Buy for the better service and larger selections of BD discs. I would rather pay full price anywhere else than shop at our local Wal-Mart.

Anyhow, like previously stated, Best Buy will trade the checks for 110% in the form of a Gift Card. I personally did this with my $300 check, giving me a $330 GC.

Sounds like a much better deal in my opinion. Get extra 10 percent in the gift card that you will be spending there anyways, have them match the promotion, get the RZ points, and have A LOT more movies to choose from.
