Default Best Buy's Black Friday in July 24-25

In case you missed it... As mentioned in the http://forums.highdefdigest.com/blu-...le-amazon.html thread, Best Buy has chosen to counter Amazon's Prime day with their own Black Friday in July sale. Click the banner to be taken to Best Buy's site. They are indicating the prices are good online and in store.

With my closest best Buy about 30 miles away it would take a lot for me to head on over there. Perhaps when I get up on Friday I will check online for the flyer.

Not a damn thing that really interests me. Did not think a sale could be any worse than what Amazon built up their hype for. At least with Amazon there was a lot of variety and price cuts more than 50%.
You have to click each category to get the full picture.

Summarizing, movies... same ones we always see on sale.
Tv's - save $20 here and there. A couple of the lower end ones saving $50. lol, the higher end ones simply indicate a price match guarantee, wow, what a great sale.
Under the computers category I see a few decent sales on monitors and cheap printers. But I am not in the market for either nor would I buy a cheap printer as they nail you on the ink prices.
Must not forget your obligatory Skylanders sale.

Am I just in a foul mood or does this sale simply not hold up?

I think it's a case of Best Buy thinking the Amazon sale went well, and them falling into the same trap. Glad I saved money by not buying anything . . .
