Default Captain America: The Winter Soldier deals

Target has Captain America: The Winter Soldier 3D for $19.99 this week. Strangely enough, they list the single disc 2D version at the same price. The 3D version is listed as a "Target Exclusive", but I don't see any details explaining what's so special.

Over at Best Buy, the 3D version is $24.99 and comes in a steelbook. If you purchase any TV title $14.99 and up, then the price for Captain America drops to $14.99 as well.

Target's exclusive is bonus content. Most believe it is downloadable content, but I don't believe there has been a true confirmation on it.

Earlier today I put the CA 2D version in my cart along with a tv title and it dropped to $9.99. Great deal for those not interested in the 3D set. And the $14.99 deal is not limited to just the steelbook version in case anyone was wondering as I tried the non-steelbook and it dropped to $14.99 also.

I'll probably pick the Target 3D version on the way home from work tomorrow. I haven't seen First Avenger, should I watch that one first, and if so, is it worth picking up the 3D version? I have the 2D, and I've read mixed reviews about the quality of the conversion.

K-mart has the single disc and the dvd versions at the exact same price of $19.99.

Wal-Mart's ad has an advertisement at the bottom of the page for M&M's telling you to go to walmart.com/captainamerica to "save $5 on your movie night". The website is not active yet as it transfers you to a Wal-Mart Avengers page. But supposedly you get a $5 coupon towards CA:TWS when you buy a bag of M&M's from Wal-Mart.

That Target price of $19.99 is pretty good.

I planned on renting this on Vudu (in 3D) for about $6.99. If I spend $13 more, I get the digital copy (2D, meh), and I can then sell the whole thing if I'm not crazy about the movie.

Heck, I can see about selling off the 2D BD, seeing as I'll have the UV copy, and keeping the 3D BD.

How much do you think I could get for the 2D BD disc, in just a black jewel case?

Yeah, I would watch First Avenger first. The plot of 2 ties back to 1st
pretty well.

The 3D review here recommends it.

2 bags to be precise.

You might find a cardboard standalone display at your local Walmart with
the M&Ms and coupons.

Should mention that Walmart has 5 exclusive slipcovers:
Capt, Black Widow, Nick Fury, Winter Soldier, and Falcon have their own
separate cover art.
