a little of both. it's a single disc blu ray in a blu ray case and a dvd in a dvd case in cardboard case

That's odd lol. You get what you can I guess. You can even regift the DVD version to some friends/parents who haven't embraced blu ray yet!

And I will be doing just that. As a matter of fact I get 2 gifts out of this one. One for my wife and 1 for a family member. Not bad for $14!

I've read elsewhere that the DVD and BR cases are not individually shrinkwrapped, which hampers re-gifting ...

According to the image displayed, this is a Blu-ray and DVD combo, with DVD amaray packaging. I've learned by my mistake, when I accidently ordered the 3 Disc Beauty and the Beast Blu-ray combo, with the DVD packaging, when I preferred the Blu-ray packaging instead.
