  • Children of Men
  • Corpse Bride
  • Léon: The Professional
  • Transporter 1&2
  • Where the Wild Things Are

Subtotal: $126.34
Promotion(s) Applied: -$78.34

I was planning on picking up all of these eventually, so this is pretty great. It was tempting to grab more but I already went a bit overboard this past weekend...

Great deal... too bad I'm late to this one. Lots of titles I'd like are out of stock. Looks like you only need 4 to qualify for free shipping... and with REDCard is less than 7 bux a title. Nice.

Anyone who took part of this deal needs to be careful with the charges on these orders. Especially, if there are multiple shipments on an order. I noticed that the discount is wrong when they do a partial shipment. I have one outstanding item, so when it ships I will be double checking the amounts they charged for each shipment and make sure it totals the original order total. Just an FYI, as it appears to be a problem.

This is especially stupid - the movies should just be a standard $8 each, but they have added up the total price of the movies prior to the 2 for $16 deal, and then gave out the discounts based on the percentage of each shipment compared to the total. If you have all the movies the same price, you'll have $8 each before tax. But take the case of 2 x $20 movies and 2 x $12 movies that ship in those pairs. The 2 x $20 will be $9.30 each, the 2 x $12 will be $6.30 each. Not a big deal if you're keeping them all. But if you have the 2 cheap ones that get cancelled (I have 3 on long term backorder), then you're actually going to be paying more than $8 each. In the above case, you'll have paid $9.30 each.
