Amazon will match at $19.99, which for me, is basically like paying $17.99 at a store with tax. I doubt we'll see any lower than that the first few weeks after release.

It's rare that I say this, but I will probably wait for a while on this one. I learned this lesson cause I bought the Gladiator and Bravehart Saphire series release at release date cost only to watch the prices plummit.

But hey, if it goes down to 16.99 somewhere in the near future, I will be all over it?

Is SPR being released by the same people who released Gladiator and Braveheart?

Yes, it's from Paramount, in the same Sapphire Series. But while Gladiator was a Paramount release, because of cross licensing the actual transfer was done by Universal. SPR, like Braveheart, will be a 100% Paramount transfer.

Well this is good to know.
Has anyone read if Spielberg approved this transfer like he did for Minority Report?

Just saw a pic of the rear box art, and didn't see mention of it like on the Minority Report one. Doesn't mean he didn't, but you think they would advertise it if he did.

Hopefully a review of it comes up quick, because I don't want this to be nothing but a great HD transfer. Anyone seen a review yet?
