What happens if you place an order and cancel Avatar? Do you lose the $3 off?

Default AVATAR not in OAR!

This title is going to be available in such an over abundance, that if you are
patient, you will be able to get it either new or used on the cheap a few weeks
after its release. Personally, I have seen a pre-release screener already and minus the 3D and the grand scale (I have a 65" screen). I am not impressed.
Additionally, I am not happy with the director's choice of re-composing this
film for the small screen at 1.78:1 (originally 2.35:1) as reported here: http://www.highdefdigest.com/news/sh...2_Pick-Up/4484

Wow, hope Fox doesn't bankrupt themselves with such an incredible deal...

Avatar on 4/22 is plenty for me. That $3 bullshit deal is a joke.

I mean is the film impressive outside of theaters? I'm considering getting the ultimate release this fall but with such a weak script, I have a feeling the reason I enjoyed it was because of the immense cinematography, effects and 3D.

Remember when there were two formats and we were offered real deals?

Sigh.

The good ol days. The only title from the list that I might want is mr and Mrs Smith. Any other titles that are worth having I already own.

Yeah but from what i remember during the red v blu format war...movies were around $25-30 each...if you were lucky you could get them for $15-20 each.

Here..avatar may be $24 (which is semi-standard for a new release blu), but the other movies are only like $13...with $3 off...$10 for a brand new Blu Ray movie like I Robot or Master and Commander, sounds good to me.
