classic movies is what it is. Kino is a distributor. think Criterion Collection or StudioCanal Collection type stuff

Battleship Potemkin is $32 on Amazon. The General is $27 on Amazon. I blind bought both for $26 shipped as I've always been curious to see these silents (especially Keaton in The General). If I dont like them, they still have great trade value. Thanks for the post, Arkadin!

Awesome sale!

I recently got a $200 BB GC and have been using it sparingly (Alice BB Exclusive and Shutter Island so far) as I waited for sales to pop up...this was just what I was waiting for.

Picked up Battleship Potemkin, The General, and the pair of Kar Wai Wong films (Happy Together and Fallen Angels).

Total after S&H and NY Tax was $54.35...I'm definately happy with these for $13.60 each.

Battleship Potempkin is the only one of these movies I have seen and haven't heard of most of the others but will order a few anyway although most are now on backorder.

I was hoping some of the pre-orders would be $10 too (Steamboat Bill), but no matter. Thanks Ark - what a deal!

Yankeescf what Avatar is that? it reminds me of Dark City but i don't think it's that.

damn, i'm definitely in for BP and The General, and i've really been wanting to see Ballast and i just heard of the two Wong Kar-wai mociwa so idk, i might pass on those cuz i liked Chungking Express but didn't like it enough to own it.

i do agree with Ark though. amazing sale.
