Studio: StudioCanal

Region: B*

Zavvi Description: Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook. Limited to 2000 copies

Extras: NA

Technical Info: Likely will contain: DTS-HD MA 5.1, OAR, 50GB Disc.

Events rapidly escalate out of control and Shaun’s mischief inadvertently leads to the hapless farmer being taken away from the farm and into the Big City.

With the flock’s help, Shaun must leave the farm for the first time in order to rescue The Farmer. But how will the sheep survive? Can they avoid being recognised as sheep and thus avoid the clutches of a fearsome animal catcher? In the course of an action-packed adventure they experience a host of wild and funny mishaps, as well as meeting new and interesting characters, including a little orphan dog called Slip who makes Shaun realise that having a home and a family is not something to be taken for granted.

Comments: StudioCanal release carry a high rate of region-locking, proceed with caution.

^^^ never heard of this one. Cannot justify a blind buy at £20.99 + P&P.
Omitted from the description above, "From Aardman, the creators of Wallace & Gromit and Chicken Run, SHAUN THE SHEEP THE MOVIE is coming to UK cinemas on February 6!"
Sounds like it could be fun.

I've seen it. It was alright, as I recall. Not especially memorable in my case though.

Good Morning Vietnam

Street Date: July 13, 2015

Studio: Disney/Buena Vista

Region: ABC*

Zavvi Description: Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook - Limited to 2000.

Extras: USA Release: Production Diary (35 minutes) w/ producer Larry Brezner, screen writer Mitch Markowitz and director Barry Levinsona,Raw Monologue w/ Robin Williams (13 min), Theatrical Trailers

Technical Info: USA Release Has: DTS-HD MA 5.1, AR 1.85:1, 50GB Disc

Synopsis: Academy Award winner Robin Williams shakes up 1965 Saigon as irreverent, non-conformist deejay Adrian Cronauer. Imported by the army for an early a.m. radio show, Cronauer blasts the formerly staid, sanitized airwaves with a constant barrage of rapid-fire humour and the hippest tunes from back home. The G.I's love him - but the top brass is outraged. Riddled with side-splitting comic bombshells and studded with hot 60's hits, the film depicts Cronauer's Raccous Saigon adventures and a world gone mad.

Comments: *Previous USA release is region-free. Apparently this title has not been released in the UK on Blu Ray so there's no comparison. Also USA release has a mediocre transfer.

^^^ not very jazzed with this title anyway. It has a few good moments.

What worries me is what Zavvi is going to have for its Sunday announcement. I have to work and I know we're going to be ripe for Jurassic World in the next week or two. Announcements are getting to a point they're before the movie hits the theaters.

I think you just answered your own question. The movie has different distributors in different regions. EIV is very likely contractually required to region-lock the disc to prevent competition with Sony.
