Not sure I get the point of this design. Was a vault somehow an important part of that movie? I remember Dr. Evil's cryogenic space capsule, but it didn't look anything like that.

"Top Secret Anniversary Edition"? Why Top Secret? Because he's a spy, I guess?

This just seems completely random.

Which version of the movie is available in the UK? I still have the Australian DVD with the longer cut that has the Rob Lowe cameo and some other stuff that was probably all best left on the cutting room floor. Interesting curiosity and I wouldn't mind getting it in HD, but the American theatrical cut is the better movie.

Josh Z - I THINK there may have been a sort of Vault Door for Doctor Evil, in the scene with Austin Powers right before he went up to space in the Big Boy?

It's probably just a vault door to emphasize the 'top secret' nonsense though.

The cover design is currently temporary, likely to change. The Zavvi page is very barebones as of this posting. Doesn't even list the studio (had to go to Blu-ray.com for that), or the # of copies available.

Yeah I saw that in the "surprise Steelbook" email - very odd, but I did order it. I can always cancel later if need be.
