Studio: 20th Century Fox

Region: Free

Zavvi Description: Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray

Extras: NA

Technical Info: DTS-HD MA 5.1, AR 2.39:1, 1 BD-50 Disc

Synopsis: For six years, Washington D.C. has been murder-free thanks to astounding technology which identifies killers before they commit their crimes. But when the chief of the Pre-Crime Unit (Cruise) is himself accused of a future murder, he has just 36 hours to discover who set him up - or he'll fall victim to the "perfect" system he helped create. It's a mind-blowing action thriller that is "fascinating and utterly absorbing... A triumph not to be missed."

Comments: Fox is hit and miss with region coding, however the previous releases have been region free and AFIK there is no recent remaster of this film, so the same disc will be packaged here.

Studio: MGM/Fox

Region: Free

Zavvi Description: Zavvi Exclusive Limited Edition Steelbook Blu-ray

Extras: NA

Technical Info: DTS-HD MA 5.1, AR 1.85:1, 1 BD-50 Disc

Synopsis: Robert DeNiro gives the performance of his career as Jake La Motta, a boxer whose psychological and sexual complexities erupt into violence both in and out of the ring. Joe Pesci and Cathy Moriarty are unforgettable as the brother who falls prey to Jake’s mounting paranoia and jealousy, and the fifteen-year-old girl who becomes La Motta’s most prized trophy. An “exceedingly violent as well as poetic” fight picture that maps “the landscape of the soul” (The New York Times), Raging Bull garnered eight OSCAR® Nominations, and two wins, including Best Actor for DeNiro.

Comments: One of those rare region free MGM/Fox releases.

Technical Info: DTS-ES 6.1 (24-bit @1500K), 2.35:1, 1 BD-50 Disc

Synopsis: Brian De Palma’s The Untouchables is a must-see masterpiece – a glorious, fierce, larger-than-life depiction of the mob warlord who ruled Prohibitionera Chicago... and the law enforcer who vowed to bring him down. This classic confrontation between good and evil stars Kevin Costner as federal agent Eliot Ness, Robert De Niro as gangland kingpin Al Capone and Sean Connery as Malone, the cop who teaches Ness how to beat the mob: shoot fast and shoot first.

Comments: Previous releases have all been region free. If you want a better cover art, look for the Paramount Centenary Edition from 2012. The overly red cover art was used in the 2008 release and not used since, no idea why it was resurrected.

Synopsis: Sergio Leone’s monumental picture, presented here in its original form, ranks among his most admired achievements. In the dying days of the Old West, a struggle to control water in a dusty desert town embroils three hard-bitten gunmen in an epic clash of greed, honour and revenge. Henry Fonda stars in his most sinister role as Frank, a hired killer who ruthlessly slays an entire family. Jason Robards plays Cheyenne, an infamous bandit framed for the slaughter. And Charles Bronson is The Man, a mysterious loner determined to exact vengeance for a grudge he refuses to divulge. An influence on countless directors, Leone’s masterpiece is considered among the greatest Westerns ever made.

Comments: So we've taken a break from the hideous Pop Art, Mondo, Grade-School Watercolors projects and are now on a trend of cranking up the red? This one looks almost as exciting as the cover to The Untouchables, except it has the "artistic" shelf wear look to it, which in itself as a minus to me.
If you can still get it, get this one instead as it has a less offensive cover.

Synopsis: Set among San Francisco’s renowned landmarks, James Stewart is brilliant as Scottie Ferguson, an acrophobic detective hired to shadow a friend’s suicidal wife, Madeleine (Kim Novak). But when he finds another woman remarkably like his lost love, the now obsessed detective must unravel the secrets of the past to find the key to his future.

Comments: Another region free release. Not sure what's with Zavvi's latest obsession with overly red cover arts. This makes 3 in a row now

Synopsis: No Blu-ray collection is complete without Braveheart, a landmark of modern cinema. This epic saga of war, love and freedom Won five Academy Awards, including Best Picture. Director, co-producer and star Mel Gibson is William Wallace, the legendary Scottish hero who fights to the death to liberate his country from the tyrannical forces of the cruel King Edward I.

Comments: Previous releases are region free confirmed. With the 4K release coming out though it's hard to justify buying this release in my opinion.

Yeah, I'm getting that. But the first volume's steelbook soundtrack has yet to come out XD I think it's August? The Volume 2 soundtrack doesn't even have a release date yet.

Not making an official post yet, just a heads up as they've got placeholders already and sometimes Marvel releases sell very fast. I would expect Best Buy to get the 4K Combo and regular BD pack, but not likely the 3D SteelBook.
