Interesting choice to release the sequel.
Hopefully, 'Silence of the Lambs' will soon follow.

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash.
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

Shout! Factory has been doing 4K titles for a while - although just the IMAX documentary route.
Love that Kino Lorber is getting into 4K. Hopefully, they'll do a lot of the more B-list movies that the major studios have passed on when it comes to 4K."I'm trying Ringo...I"m trying real hard to be the shepherd."

Yeah they've offered a number of "New 4K Scan" or "New 4K Restoration" but no actual native 4K UHD release. Fingers crossed? Maybe? About a year ago they polled folks about a 4K UHD release of their run for The Good The Bad and The Ugly but ever since it's been crickets.

I gotta go Manhunter. I love the Red Dragon book but I never felt like Norton was dark enough for the part - you're supposed to fear how deep into the psychosis he gets, like he could become that killer with just the right push (which they beautifully explore in the Hannibal TV show). Norton just played it like sleepy Droopy Dog

Per KLSC's facebook page - Dolby Vision HDR color grading and the included Blu-ray will be sourced from the new 4K restoration scan! Doesn't look like any "NEW" bonus features, all that's included looks to be from the original DVD release.
