Yeah, I do know it's the game system with 15 games, but with games I like as well. Zool 2 and Bubsy, FTW!

Why do we need a Wii, 360, and a PS3? Why do we need a DS, PSP, GBA? People will buy this format just for the sake of having it. If it is much cheaper as predicted then it might have greater appeal to the consumer market. Lets face it, the majority of the consumer market don't even have HDTV's let alone hd players. A cheaper format might persuade them to convert.

Now, i'm not saying that I support having this format by no means... I'm an HDDVD advocate and always will be. I'm just saying in todays market you never know what might happen.

The HD VMD player puts out an outstanding picture. It's just as good as HD-DVD and Blu-ray. We showed material on a large LCD screen monitor and projected it on a screen from 40 feet away. And the picture remained outstanding from that distance. The cost of replication of the discs are cheaper than the HD-DVD & Blu-ray formats. So the studios might find that a plus on any changes it their current factories. The three players we had for tests looked and performed well.
