Default LGs PQ60D TV with unbelievable 1,000,000,000:1 contrast ratio and 600HZ refresh rate

This is interesting, a LG flat panel with a billion to one contrast ratio with 600HZ refresh rate. I wonder what the ANSI contrast ratio is and will this LG TV display true 25:25 pulldown for 1080P/24 material?

According to this it's dirt cheap, 1150/1500$:

And this claims that it's a plasma.

Of course it's a plasma. You can tell by the model number. $1500 for a 600 Hz 50" 1080p plasma is unbelievable though. If the blacks are anywhere near Kuro level then I might be buying myself a new TV this year.

So is the 600hz the actual refresh rate or is it just the sub-field drive?

I must admit I do not know the difference between the two. I see LCD TV's advertised with refresh rates and I've seen a few Panasonic Plazma's mention the sub-field drive...can anyone help me out here?
