Talking I just ordered my new pre-amp/processor!

http://www.lexicon.com/products/overview.asp?ID=25

My friend is a dealer so I was able to get it cheaper than retail but it means that I will have to wait for him to get it in California and then ship it to me in South Carolina. I should have it in about ten days.

Once I get it hooked up I'll take some photos and let you know how it performs!

Well no one really seemed to care but I myself am stoked.

After a long wait from Lexicon I finally received my MV-5 preamp yesterday. I hooked it up and played some Transformers and Matrix and it sounded absolutely incredible. I played at really high volumes +5db and there was not even a hint of distortion, it just sounded loud and good.

I've wanted a Lexicon for many years and am so happy to finally have one. I think I stared at it for quite a while last night.

Congrats! I know the pleasure of Lexicon, so I know how you feel to have one.

Thanks Glocks. I really feel that for quite some time now (hopefully) I will be complete in the audio portion of my home theater experience.

It seems like you should be set for at least 5 years.

Congrats... I'm not familiar with the brand though. Is it fairly high end?

Yes sir. As far as cinema processors go they're the standard. Lexicon, Halcro and Meridian are on the same level. Mark Levinson and Meridian (ultra high-end) are above that. Of course the Levinson processor is a two-piece processor, one for video and one for audio, and you match the audio processor to amps and at that level it better be monoblocks.
