Default HDD First Look: LG OLED TV Cinema House Powered by Dolby

LG's new pop-up entertainment experience offers visitors a chance to demo the company's Wallpaper 4K OLED TV with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.

And to help celebrate the launch, we were invited to come check out the experience for ourselves in NYC, along with a short preview clip of Stranger Things: Season Two, and a panel discussion about the evolving home entertainment market held at the Paley Center for Media.

I wonder if any of these had vertical banding like most of their OLED's or were these hand picked units?

Here is my 65E7 with awful vertical banding which is going back to Best Buy. And I'm not the only one either.

Clearly visible in any low light scene with any kind of camera panning. Unacceptable for a tv that costs this much.

Dude, that sucks. You had to have dropped at least $2.5K, right?
How did you get that picture? Was it a simple grey screen or something?

$3499 is a tough pill to swallow when you see those bands. LG needs to clean this up quick. It's piss poor quality control. Don't get me wrong the pq is outstanding when you don't see these bands but any low light scene and boom it's right in your face. Hopefully my replacement is better.

The screen is a 5% gray field from youtube.
