Default Any Components Died on You? My First...

I opened her up last week, cleaned the lens and it worked...for a day.

It's funny that my Sony DVP-S3000 that I picked up back when DVD launched still works flawlessly. Today my other Sony, DVP-C670D 5-DVD Changer died on me...I'm guessing the Laser went because it stopped reading. I had it for 7 years.

I had my first DVD player (a dual disc Toshiba) from 2000 start acting strangely on me 4 years after I got it, but nothing has ever died on me.
