Default Is Linear PCM better than Dolby TrueHD?

I am assuming it is, as Linear PCM is uncompressed audio..how do you get better than that?

It is also lossless audio, as is Dolby TrueHD. Dolby TrueHD uses Meridian Lossless Packing which allows the exact original data to be reconstructed from the compressed data. Since the original and the decompressed data are identical, there should be no difference as the data is reconstructed bit for bit. One potential advantage that Dolby TrueHD has over LPCM is dialog normalization and dynamic range compression are controlled by the metadata embedded in the TrueHD bitstream to improve the perceived volume of audio.

32 bit audio. To my knowledge, Linear PCM right now can range from 16-24 bit audio.
