I don't understand this remote only having one activity. To me that is the whole point of a Harmony - so that I can have a button that says "Watch Blu Ray" and my wife can press it and everything works like it should. Without that functionality this is no better than a $4 candybar remote from the check out line.

I never use the activity button because there were too many times where it misses starting something but having only 4 devices is not good enough for me.

$50 is a rip off for this useless piece of shit.

seriously, you can grab a more useful generic universal remote for $20 at Target

I don't think it could be worth $50. My only experience with Harmony remotes is the Harmony One, I picked up two of them last year and I love the remote. If this works as well but only 4 devices and just one activity, I could see it being useful with a system that includes an Oppo BDP-83 for everything shiny 5" disc related and in addition an AV Receiver, TiVo and an HDTV, and nothing else. For maybe $30, it would be a nice remote for that system and a good deal.

agreedm Chris, I think fair pricing for this would be just a hair above the $20-$25 remotes that it bests.

    You can get a 520 for $20, or a 550 for $40. At $50, that 300 is kind of...
Even the 720 (or is it the 750 now?) can be had for about $50. So...

I think you guys are comparing MSRP to street prices.

In any case, where are people finding the "1 activity" limit? I can't find mention of this limit anywhere.

Well, is this not the true reality, the real amount of dollars we'll be spending on? ...Right?

Used, or refurbished ones on Amazon (or eBay), just Google it.
