I noticed too, that Universal is not including Spanish subtitles like they did. Maybe they think there's not enough Spanish-speaking people in the US to be worth the effort of subtitle/audio track inclusion?

My wife appreciates the subtitles and if she does than so do I. WTF Universal?

send universal and email and ask, it could be that there were no subtitles for the origional dvd release and they didn't create them for the hd transfer

I take it English is not his first language
On the side note(to make this more smakdown) doest blu-ray have more subtittles and audio track (language wise)
So for people who did not understand him he will only use his xbox for games and he will get a cheap blu-ray player

A very balanced and honest response from a die-hard HD dvd supporter. I agree with you, and it doesn't make a whole lot of sense. How much effort does it require to include Spanish subtitles?

I would also have the same criticism for any blu-ray studio, so it's not a jab at hd dvd as much as Universal.

he is only going to use his xbox for games now and he plans to pick up a cheap blu-ray player because of studio's audio tracks do not support spanish

i think this is very valid all those treads about better interactivity now we cant talk about audio tracks shame on you
