I took a look but I already own most of the titles available to choose from. They need to expand their selections a bit more before I'm tempted.

I saw the ads, but you only get a choice from 50 titles for the 5 movies, and titles that are 2 disc...ie Juno, end up counting as two selections. It's not a bad deal for people starting out, or who want Fox titles. If you make the first purchase at $19.99 at the time of enrollment, your first shipment comes out to about $34.60/ 6 movies for B.C. residents. Assuming the next 3 titles cost you $37(including tax and shipping), your avg price/ disc comes out to $16.18. Also, from what i've read, preorder for titles like Iron Man, Hancock, etc, are going for $29+shipping+tax, which is in the neighbourhood of Future Shop and Best Buy's(Canada) pricing.

$16-17 per title is insane. Other than BOGO's, there is no where else Canadians can get deals like that. Even Amazon.com is gouging us on the shipping lately.

If they offer some more titles, i'd probably go for it. I already own most of the titles i want off the list. The only two appealing to me are: 3:10 to Yuma, and Juno(which ends up being equal to 2 selections)

Yeah, same here. Nothing on the list yet that I want. But as of the last 3 months, my movie-buying has become VERY discriminatory.....

Aren't they the club that sends you a 'selection of the month' at really high prices if you don't tell them no or was that so long ago it's not relevent now?

No, they don't do that anymore. Really ticked people off.

I joined. Figured why not for those prices. I got:

I Am Legend, Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Unforgiven, Independence Day, Night At the Museum, Short Circuit and The Day After Tomorrow.

All for about $40 shipped (about $5.71 a title). First 5 titles I paid $1 each for, $19.99 for the 6th title and $14.99 for the 7th title. I only have to buy 3 more to meet my membership requirements, then I can cancel if I want.

Nope. That's why I figured I would give it a go.
