Thumbs up Frys clearing out hddvd

I was up at my local Frys last week and saw the two formats appropriately displayed next to each other, however I just got back from there and found it odd that the ENTIRE hddvd selection was moved towards the back of the home video selection. When asking one of the sales reps why this was the case he said he thinks the reason was because they havent been going anywhere since they were first stocked on the shelves. Of course that was just his speculation and it was only the source from ONE store. I just thought it was interesting, so I took a picture

Frankly I'm annoyed by the pricing on their site on BR vs. HD DVD.

Really? Ive found that (at least their in-store) pricing was about $5-10 cheaper then BB and CC, plus they have the best selection of BR's Ive found anywhere (aside from online)

Fry's is hardly a litmus test for HD DVD or BD sales they are a electronics retailer that does not appear to do much as far a benchmarking the market. We all know they unusual purchasing and sales method that is unique and highly focused regional markets.

My Fry's has them side by side still. Coincidentally, though, blu-ray is now taking up the space where UMD movies once were.

Fry's in Concord,ca has Hd-DVDs right next to the mens bathroom. The hd-dvds are not even faced to where you see the front of the cover but instead the side. The blu-rays are are right next to the PS3 games and at the center aisle of the store.

Can you even see the Bluray movies thru the stacks of PS3 Boxes?
