Default Show Warner what you think of TotalHD

Anyone want to set up a petition to tell them how crap these discs are. Im sure both sides would unite on this matter and that I dont want a double sided disc. Makes for scratches and looks pap.

Something HDDVD and Bluray can agree on?

As long as the discs are no more expensive than current combos I don't mind the TotalHD discs.

Plus i can definately see where Warner is coming from. They only have to producre 1 SKU instead of 2.

If there is a petition, i recommend purchasing one and scratching it up and sending it back to then.

I hate double sided disks - I have some cheap Miami Vice double sided DVD's and I hate them. otherones I expect more from HD movies.

It is total joke that they cost more.

Just don't buy it, and they will get the message.

For someone that supports HD DVD and doesn't care about double sided disks, I will support Total HD, as long as it's not too expensive.

I leave my disks in their case or the player, I don't gawk at the disk art. For me, a dvd is for playing, not looking at and handling.

The rumor is $40 - $50 - that sounds expensive to me.

40$ is ok for a movie I absolutely must have, hell even a $100 if the packaging and extra merchandise is up to par.

But $40 for a combo disk, say, like TLS or SA? forget it.

Wont work for your everyday buy and watch once movies.

I would think a company the size of Warner with a marketing department bigger than most average sized company's, would know that a $40-$50 disc just isn't going to really sale, except for big big titles.

I'll be very surprised if they cost that much.

I'll hold out any petitioning of THD until Warner announces MSRP.
