Even a car that has an engine stall will coast for awhile.....

And a plane that loses all of it's engines will actually keep a decent velocity (gravity) before it eventually crashes and burns.....

And a dead cat thrown from a rooftop will bounce a few times before finally coming to a complete standstill.....

Oh, I could go on. But I won't.

its still going STRONG even with 30% content - imagine it has 70% content. BD will instantly become UMD part 2

Strong? Have you seen whats going on lately?

They need huge reductions (50%/BOGOF) to get anyone buying their products. And they cant last forever... and the retailers/studios know that.

For that matter, imagine if it had 90% content... imagine if it had 100% content...

Imagination is very nice, indeed...

Imagining doesn't make things come true. It's not like I'm expecting HD DVD to go away immediately after Warner's decision. Besides, they still have a bit more than 30% content since Warner hasn't fully cut the plug

30% isn't strong, it's a cry for help... especially with studios going blu-ray exclusive... how's Woolworths treating HD DVD'ers lately?

That's ok, we can build our libraries with titles that will take 2-3 years to get to Blu.

its amazing there are some people who still believe the world is flat. i guess they are xbox boys.

hd will have this spike (the 30% share) for a little while. the players are selling well with every double cheese burger purchase so people will snatch up the remaining wb titles while they can. when they run out and become a rare commodity, much like shooter on blu ray, the 30% will become 10% than 0% real quick. then all the pointless threads and assinine posts won't save it.
