I actually thought it was trying to trap Blu-ray supportors.
But I agree this poll is FUD and I refused to answer.

i am merely asking who we think make the most profit out of the HDM format war. you have the democratic right not to participate. I am not putting an expensive BD drive on every PS3!

I personally believe is Paramount's pay off is the reason for Warner decision to go Blu-ray - but still this poll is stupid.

Most likely the real answer is not in the poll. Maybe like the makers of HD TV's which include both Sony and Toshiba and others.

This poll is exactly why it stupid sometimes to have a public poll.

This is a silly question because the war actually costs everyone listed above millions, if not billions in potential sales. When there's a format war, consumer's aren't confident in either format. When consumer's aren't confident in a product, they don't buy it. That means that the question you're really asking is which of the above is losing the LEAST amount of potential sales.

meaning when there is no format war - studios will get billions selling HDM and still get bazilions from selling DVD = consumers buying both HDM and standard dvd. if not there is no potential billion dollar profit

10 of millions of consumers will rush to purchase $400 BD standalone players if Toshiba gave up in January?

Replicators will press millions of BD50 per day to profit from the GREAT surge of <>8mil weekly sales of hit BD titles when there is no format war?
