It's not an issue of money. Insiders confirm Warner was desperately trying to save HD-DVD until last week. It was Fox's double-dealing that forced them to go Blu-Ray.

Who knows maybe they thought it would be more beneficial to get Paramount at the time, Warner had already given them exclusives Batman,Matrix,V for Vendetta.

No insider has confirmed anything. One journalist said it was what he heard, although new is now that Toshiba is spreading this false news to save a tiny bit of face.

Sorry but Warner will receive 1/2 billion dolars beign Blu-Ray exclusive by BD Association.
