I love that, I think I'm going to add it to my sig. "No tradeoffs, No compromises." For all those that think Disney will go nuetral.

Kind of a sensationalistic title don't you think? I don't see where Disney said HD DVD will die. He just stated they should prevail (they currently have a 3:1 lead).

I live in the states, why should I care about Europe (or any other region for that matter)?

The US is the key. Whatever succeeds here will eventually take over elsewhere (whether that's Blu-ray, HD DVD or both).

If the U.S. adopts HD-DVD and the rest of the world adopts Blu-Ray, won't hd-dvd suddenly have "region coding" since you won't be able to play anything you buy from anywhere else in the world?

Hmm so which big BD studio is HD NOW referring to going neutral soon? We seem to be running out of choices.

So simplistic in thought. Globalization!! I have lived in Europe and Latin America and trust me, The Global Market is very important.

Anyway, the last time we Americans took an isolationist view, Pearl Harbor got bombed. Think about it.
