Talking Format war aftermath

So if this format war ends and a winner is finally declared, what will you do with your leftover reds or blues?

Will you keep them or sell the rest and invest in the opposing format?

I figure it would be somewhat difficult to keep both, especially if the HD player is integrated with your home theater.
I suppose one of those HD combo SA players would solve that problem.

That's really only a question for people that have HD DVDs. Even if HD DVD somehow manages to remain alive I don't think anyone expects BD to go away.

Keep them....

Why sell them....?

Players continue to work.... dual format players are around the corner...

Hell.... I still have my laserdisc player and most of my discs... this is hooked up via my upconverter and I own allot of films on laser that even to this day have never seen the light of day on DVD.

Kind of a stupid question...

If push comes to shove I will buy a combo player especially since they are starting to hit the $299 mark. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16827136133

I am Blu and one of the main reasons I'm even bothering to follow this stupid war is if in the event that there should be any significant announcement in studio support shifting to HD-DVD, I will be sure to sell all my Blurays (except for close encounters) on a 24 hour ebay sale. Hopefully before news reaches the UK.

Hasty but it's kind of like selling stock.

I will keep my entire current HDM collection and simply continue purchasing in the format that won.

I would keep them all as long as they are in working condition, and get a combo player as they would likely be pretty cheap.
