Default Don't worry folks, the Universal movies ARE coming.

An interesting thread from another forum:

They are going to have an impressive number of releases this year. Not everything on the list you guys gave me will be coming this year, but some of it will be. Expect to see most new releases day and date, and a lot of catalog. That having been said they are going for quality over quantity, wanting to even further refine the interactivity you saw on Tokyo Drift and Miami Vice. Ok that's all I am going to say for now, more later this week.
I basically quoted everything HD DVD supporters have been attacked for suggesting. Looks like Universal was doing just what many of us thought, getting their collective stuff together instead of just name-dropping. And letting CES be about CES and not about them.

I'm going to be reading that thread all week waiting to see what gets announced.

Thanks for the information. There are a lot of excellent Universal titles I would love to buy on HD DVD.

Thanks Stinger. I understand early adopters get impatient but it does kind of come with the territory. You get new technology first but you get the "warts" too. There is no need for anyone to go "chicken little" on HD DVD or Universal.

We've heard this kind of thing before and been disapointed. Don't make a song & dance about it until you see the facts.

Thank you Meshi. Your empathy is like a warm blanket. I'm going to sleep well tonight knowing that somewhere, someplace....I have a friend out there who's looking out for my best interests. Salute!

Yep, Meshi is a saint.

I can't wait for those big titles announcements, so we can all do a little happy dance.

Or perhaps since he's got free will he can just go ahead and choose the song and dance? Yes?
