Default So if Transformers was on Blu Ray as well...

I can't believe how many threads I have seen with hatred towards the movie...either the AQ (no trueHD), PQ (grain), or how people felt the movie just sucked in general.

Now my question is, if Transformers was on blu ray as well (with IDENTICAL AQ/PQ and extras), would there be this much hate???

Now I say identical because I don't want to hear the crap "well blu ray would have have had the True PCM or the picture would be better because it would be on a larger disc."

...you would have half of the blu-ray fanboys on this forum saying how much better it is than HD-DVD.

You can't honestly think they would be identical do you? Blades of Glory was announced to have Dolby Digital Plus 5.1 on HD-DVD and uncompressed PCM 5.1 on Blu-ray. Do you really think they wouldn't have done the same with Transformers?

Anyone who is lying about their opinion of a film based on format war exclusivity needs to seek professional help.

You should also add hatred in talking about it, especially over several thousand threads.

I believe some HD DVD folks have made complaints in some of those areas. So what does that mean? Someone somewhere has a gripe about the movie. Doesn't matter what format you own.

You're looking at the glass half empty. There have also been many praises. Any credit due?

sure, credit is due, but I would have figured there would have been more positive reviews and very few negative, whereas things are 50/50 now. I have a feeling most BD supporters are the ones starting the negative gripes about it.
