Default Best Buy Blu-Ray Player $299.99

I went to Best Buy today in Illinois (South Chicago Suburbs) on my lunch break and saw that they have 1080p Samsung Blu-Ray players for $299.99. I have not seen it on their website yet, but the workers at the store had just gotten done setting up the new shelves. I thought my eyes were playing tricks on me, but after checking again, then checking the player i realized that it was correct. On sale for $299.99. If they are dropping the prices like this before the holiday season, I wonder what might be the price closer to christmas time.

go blu!

If it was the BD-P1200 it sounds like a clearance sale. All the same that is an awesome price for a G2/G3 Samsung BD player. This may also be limited to a specific store. $299 Blu-Ray players are exactly what is needed right now though...

They didnt have a clearance tag they were new to the store, i did make sure of that. They just did the remodel, and sold all of their demos and such but these were not those. I will try and see if it is still there tomarrow and take a photo, or at least get the model number. Agreed, this pricepoint is just right and is just what they need.

Take off your Sony goggles. There's no way you saw $299. You Sony hack. Oh wait, that's a Samsung.

$299 for Blu-ray HD DVDers. Going once. Going twice. ...
