Thanks for your comments.

Rob Enderle is far from unbiased. He is the Bill Hunt of HD DVD

I spotted a thread about this article earlier today while browsing through Blu-ray.com. Several of the BD faithful were so incensed they immediately organized a campaign to post comments on the article's "comments area". Too bad they couldn't take your advice to "Try to keep 'em civil".

Are you talking about all the above comments? Because if you are, then you may want to check again. I own HD, I'm just try to keep an open mind and don't put 100% faith in every article I read.

I was going to say the same thing. Those two shills are the Yin and the Yang of the format wars.

Well, since I read the "shadow thread" first (for the same link) which another member listed apparently having missed yours, I still think this thread deserves my same post:

Ah, yes: excellent article (commentary) from a known paid Microsoft shill, Rob Enderle! Go - go - go, Rob! (Blu-ray bad: HD-DVD good!)

I applaud you for posting what can only reasonably be considered a very informative and well argued article.

Unfortunately most Blu Ray fanatics here don't realize (as they label anyone criticizing Blu Ray as a Shill or in the payroll of Microsoft or Toshiba with ABSOLUTELY no proof of course) is that what Mr. Enderle has written in essence is being written by ALL the major analysts and researchers. ALL except the spin doctors on Blu Ray sites have stated many of these caveats.

I cannot blame Sony, Panasonic and the blu group for fighting bitterly to the end on this as they've invested millions in the hope of controlling and profiting off the successor to DVD, but to drag down a whole lot of others both publicly traded companies and individuals like some of the Blu fanatics posting here or elsewhere (I say some because I believe many blu fanboys posting don't even have Blu ray and are either personally promoting for Blu or are silly teenager types rooting for a team) is truly very pathetic.

You may criticize Mr. Enderle AND all the other excellent writers like Paul Sweeting at Video Business and Shane Buentner etc. but without logically refuting any of the assertions they have published you just come off looking exactly like you should: FANBOYs with nothing to offer any intelligent reader.
