Default 50 gigs is not enough

When all extras are 1080p, bluray will have to go to a second disc regardless.

So the whole space argeuement is stupid.

The studios aren't going to do it anyway because it's way too expensive.

You just validate the space argument by saying 50 GB is not enough.
If 50 GB is not enough, then surely its better than 30 GB.

I agree entirely. I'd love more than two layer Blu-Ray disks to surface once we start getting full 1080p special features.

Glad you finally saw the light VC-1. 50gb is already too small, 30gb is down right microscopic. Why anyone would want to force studios to put their content on a 30gb disk is beyond me.

Why did HDDVD get the first 5 star PQ rating?

You just proved yourself wrong for me, cheers.

I agree. 50 Gb is not enough.

No, because 50 Gb is substantially better than 30Gb and will give you the option of offering a wider variety of content on one disc with less compromises than would be possible with a 30 Gb HD DVD.

Prove me wrong.

your posts lack little or no sense whatsoever. i've yet to read a post started by you that actually has any value to it.

Do you know what a non sequitur is?

1. Logic. an inference or a conclusion that does not follow from the premises.
2. a statement containing an illogical conclusion.

How could it be pointless when you are saying 100 GB is not enough? If thats the case, then Blu-ray has a decisive advantage ...it only takes two BD50 discs to have 100 GB. You will need 4 HD DVD discs to reach that capacity.
