Default The Top 10 Reasons that HD DVD Will Win.

10) The Movies. Spielberg has donated most his time to Universal. With movies like Back to the Future, ET, To kill a Mocking Bird, Jaws, Animal House, Schindler's List, The 40 Year Old Virgian, Knocked Up, American Pie, Bourne, American Gagster, Shaun of the Dead, Riddick, Grindhouse, Scarface, Jurassic Park, The Mummy, and many Warner bros movies to HD exclusivley, people will be overwelmed.
9) The Name. HD DVD is a lot more well known than Blu Ray. It is more appealing to many of the general consumers.
8) The Way its done. The Menu in the HD DVDs are much cooler than on Blu Ray. Most genaral consumers wont be able to tell the differance of the picture so the obvious menu will give HD a lead on the feel of technology.
7) The Combo Disk format. People want to watch the DVDs in other places in their house. Not just on the fancy video players.
6) Microsoft. They have money. They always win. They revolutionized computers.
5) It works with Xbox 360. It is the number one selling system right now, but soon to be passed by the Wii, it still has sold 5 times as much as the Blu Ray PS3.
4) Its easier to make. Its much easier for studios to make HD DVD than Blu Ray because of the simmilarities. It will save money for the undecided studeios in the future.
3) Its not made by Sony. I really hate Sony. A lot of people do. They want a Monopoly over all electronics. Thats bad for the economy. They also always fail. They failed with Beta Max. They failed with UMD. They failed Audio. They failed PSP. They failed PS3. They will fail Blu Ray. They wont win this format race.
2) Porn. If you want me to explain exclusive porn support you are an idiot.
1)......... The Price/ Hardware. People want the cheaper and weaker machine. Its true. Look at the past. VHS beat Beta Max. VHS beat Laser Disk. PS1 beat N64. PS2 beat Xbox/ Gcube. DS beat PSP. Wii beats 360/PS3. HD DVD will beat Blu Ray. $500 Blu Ray Player? $250 HD DVD Player?

Flame war in 3 . . . 2 . . . 1 . . .

Maybe we'll get lucky and this won't get noticed until tomorrow, if ever.

I'm not sure whether to counter the OP point by point or just leave it alone since we have covered all of this before.

The OP is new and we haven't covered quite a bit of this in months so it may be usefull for new readers. What do you guys (and gals) think?

I say save us the time and bump an old thread. It would take too much time to point everything out that he said whether it be right or wrong.
