Default No one has seen CNET yet? Samsung Dual at $1,050

I can't post a link yet but go to CNET or Google Samsung... its 2 hrs old
Samsung's Dual Player retail to be OVER $1k

Edit: Sorry guys... didn't see under Blu-Ray Hardware

yeah, but way too expensive. Hell the Denon is too spendy. If combo players are going to have any impact on the war they need to drop in price fast.

I totally agree... no way a $1k player of any kind will have any mass appeal
I really thought thay would sell it more in the under $700 range to make any waves

how can one be expected to pay that much for a combo player when you could buy a stand alone of each for WAY cheaper

Dual Format players will not have any effect on this war. They are too damn expensive to dual license...

We are @ 2nd generation, and we are already not seeing any significant price reduction on them..

This tells me that the CE manufacturers are expecting one format to win.. Considering they are all BDA CEs, I would imagine they believe BD to be the winner.

if it were 499 i'd already have one pre ordered, what a shame.
